As the refurbishment progresses, the changes will be shown in summary below.
16/06/26 – New features on Clinical Data tables
- The header row for each table now remains at the top of the screen rather than scrolling off.
- Tables include drop-down filters which can be directly applied to columns – so if you want to see all adjectival anagram indicators which are of the ‘standard’ type, select ‘Adjective’ from the ‘Function’ drop-down and ‘Standard’ from the ‘Type’ drop-down. To reset the filters, simply select the header of the drop-down (Function and Type in this example).
- On mobile devices, wider tables are now set to collapse so that only the key fields are displayed; the other fields can be shown for a particular row by selecting the ‘+’ button.
- The ‘Search’ box has been moved next to the ‘entries per page’ element. This is to accommodate the inclusion of filters on non-display columns, which will be coming soon
07/05/26 – New Home page, About page; Changes to comment/feedback pages
- The new home page has a ‘news’ box, a slider with the latest posts, and a pane showing latest comments.
- The ‘About This Site’ page has information aimed in particular at new visitors to the site, but also describes the various ways of interacting with the site.
- The ‘Ask The Doctor’ page replaces the ‘Thoughts’ and ‘Feedback’ pages, with historic comments from both being appended to the new page.
- The ‘Site Feedback’ page is now specifically for comments relating to the site itself.
