Happy to test out the forum on your esteemed site. The Cryptic Lexicon will be a fantastic resource for novice and experienced solvers alike. Thank you!

@monk Thank you, too! All contributions to the Lexicon will be gratefully received. While the bulk of those italicized (ie sound or not, they may be encountered in puzzles) indicators get loaded up, I'm not going to track changes, as I think (hope 😀 ) there will be just too many. I'm also looking for any currently unlisted wordplay elements that lead to fragments of 1-3 letters (eg 'first lady' for EVE).

I'd like to improve the search facilities, which are pretty basic, but for now my focus is on the content.

We don't have permission to see 'my profile'. Is this deliberate?

@orange No, not deliberate at all! There is a bewildering array of group permissions, and I turned off anything that sounded like it might constitute a privacy risk. However, it would seem that 'Can view profiles' covers viewing one's own profile 🙂. I've turned it back on, and set the minimum number of posts required before one can edit one's profile to zero. It looks better now from my test account, let me know if it's ok for you. And do say if you spot anything else that doesn't look right, because the chances of it being intentional are, to all intents and purpose, nil.
