However, I\u00a0had been\u00a0hoping to get a bit more feedback (whether positive or negative) from visitors in order to help me shape the future content of the site. Actually, I&#8217;ll rephrase that &#8211; I was hoping to get more feedback from crossword aficionados rather than (i) people who\u00a0think that I will be interested in links to\u00a0healthy eating sites\u00a0(they clearly don&#8217;t know me <em>at all<\/em>) or\u00a0(ii) people who\u00a0apparently believe that I am fluent in Chinese (just for their reference, I am not). So far the level of contributions to the site and instances of volunteering to help\u00a0judge the Superclue competitions have also been disappointing, but I&#8217;m prepared to wait! Be assured that anything submitted via the content submission forms on the site or by email will not be immediately visible to other visitors; comments will appear immediately, but only\u00a0if the\u00a0submitter has already had a comment approved (a comment will only be rejected if it is spam or if it contravenes the site guidelines &#8211; not because we don&#8217;t agree with the content!).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I\u00a0was somewhat disappointed by the results of Azed competition 2,338 (TRUMP) &#8211; strangely enough,\u00a0the results rarely live up to my expectations (incidentally, and not for the first time, I thought that Richard Heald&#8217;s clue was the pick of the bunch)\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0but with gritted teeth I forced myself to review the published clues for potential additions to the Clinical Data tables, supplementing any changes that I had myself identified during the month. This\u00a0has led to\u00a0the <strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">inclusion<\/span><\/strong> of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #008000;\">primes\/priming\/primed<\/span>\u00a0(vt,\u00a0insertion indicator, definition &#8216;to charge, fill&#8217;)<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #008000;\">flayed<\/span>\u00a0(pap, first+last letter selection\u00a0indicator, definition &#8216;having had the skin stripped off\u2019)<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #008000;\">fluffs\/fluffing\/fluffed <\/span>(vi\/vt,\u00a0anagram indicator, definition &#8216;to bungle&#8217;)<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #008000;\">lets slip\/lett<\/span><span style=\"color: #008000;\">ing slip\/let slip<\/span>\u00a0(vt, expulsion indicator, definition &#8216;to allow to escape through carelessness&#8217;)<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #008000;\">oddball<\/span>\u00a0(adj, anagram indicator, def &#8216;eccentric&#8217;)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>No entries have been <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">removed <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">from the lists this month.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Although\u00a0it featured in a\u00a0successful Azed clue, I have <em>not<\/em> included &#8216;<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">seat<\/span>&#8216; (last letter selection indicator),\u00a0and won&#8217;t do unless\u00a0it receives support from readers, since I can&#8217;t justify\u00a0it to myself based on any of the meanings ascribed by Chambers\/OED.
